Political Work & CAC

2008 ASBA Board Agenda Priorities
The Madison Governing Board has selected these 10 items as their political priorities for the 2008 Legislative Session. These items were drafted by the Arizona School Board's Association for district governing board approval.

Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC)
The Citizens Advisory Committee is always looking for new members. Made up of parents and community members, the CAC assesses legislative issues for their impact on public education, specifically as they pertain to Madison. One of their top priorities is securing realistic funding for Arizona's public schools, currently ranked 50th in the nation in per pupil funding. Levels of involvement range from passing along legislative information to lobbying legislators. If you would like to get involved, please contact Co-Chairs Rhonda Olson or Mara Schantz at [email protected] . Click to view additional information on how you can get involved.
